Bio

I'm a husband and father who is passionate about academic medicine and neurointervention.  Clinically I have an interest in device development and treatment of vascular malformations.  My academic research has ranged from basic science on the epigenomics of senescence in stem and progenitor cells, to translational work on the efficacy of microRNAs to treat glioblastoma, to clinical studies on aneurysm treatment modalities.  I have a particular interest in clinical research related to aneurysm and AVM treatments and understanding the mechanisms driving aneurysm formation and rupture risks.
