Bio

Hello,

My name is Jason Sims. I am a second-year medical student at the University of Tennessee. During my time at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, under the insightful guidance of Dr. Raychev, I developed a profound interest in neuroendovascular. Choosing the University of Tennessee for medical school was a deliberate decision driven by my aspiration to closely collaborate with distinguished faculty members such as Dr. Arthur, Dr. Hoit, Dr. Elijovich, and the rest of the esteemed neurovascular team. I am grateful for their invaluable mentorship, which has significantly contributed to my clinical understanding and research appreciation within the field.

My research focus encompasses IIH, SANS, and neurovascular anatomy. Beyond my academic pursuits, I find joy in refining my culinary skills, particularly in fine Western European styles, a passion that allows me to explore and share the diverse traditional foods of various cultures.

As I continue my journey towards becoming an interventionalist, I am enthusiastic about remaining an active member of the SNIS community. I am open to any guidance and support that can help me achieve my aspirations.

Thank you for considering my endeavors, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the field.

Sincerely,
Jason Sims
